changedSince our last trailer and playtests, the game has evolved. We’ve reworked the core gameplay loop with a stronger emphasis on extraction, looting, and the lasting impact of those you rescue . Survivors now strengthen the HUB, and every resource matters for crafting and upgrading the base. The tools you carry aren’t just gear - they’re lifelines improvised under pressure.
addedWe’re also introducing a brand-new level — the Ruins — where extraction and exploration are more demanding: more complex routes, tight corridors, and vertical exploration of buildings and caves beneath the ash.
addedDuring IGN Fan Fest 2026 , we premiered a new gameplay trailer that showcases all of these changes in action. Take a look at what's new!

What We Bring Back – Into the Fire Gameplay Trailer

This is not just another look at the island. This trailer reveals:

A new location – The Ruins

Ash-covered districts swallowed by lava and time. Destroyed architecture, collapsing interiors, and survivors buried beneath debris. Explore, find rare resources or people, and extract successfully.

The evolving gameplay loop

Extraction under pressure. Plan the route in - plan the way back. Secure routes that can change in the blink of an eye. Every rescued survivor and gathered loot can change what awaits you in the Hub.

Survival inside the HUB

The Old Cable Car Station is no longer just a safe space. It breathes with the people you save. It grows with the help of survivors, and can be expanded with different new buildings that each serve different purposes. The HUB depends on you and your actions.

Fire missions at full intensity

Dynamic hazards, escalating danger levels, tactical tools repurposed for rescue. Time is life here, and with every second passed, the danger is rising.

This trailer represents the direction we are taking with Into the Fire: a cataclysm extraction survival where saving others is not a side activity. It is the core.

The island is changing. The world is burning. What you bring back matters. See you among the flames!
