inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories changes
Hello everyone!
We've been watching your streams, reading through bug reports, and following the discussions across all our channels. These insights help us spot issues, prioritize improvements, and make inKONBINI even better.
Based on your feedback, we've added an option to reset progress on the current shift and Korean language support. We've also improved how Makoto navigates around obstacles, making movement through the store smoother and more reliable.
As always, we've included a number of bug fixes and general improvements as well. These updates are available on Steam right now and will be coming to consoles very soon. Check out the full patch notes below!
Change Log
New Features
Added “Reset Shift” feature Players can now reset their current progress on each night back to the beginning of the shift. “Reset Shift” option will appear in the pause menu only if the shift was started after the patch update
Gameplay & Mechanics
Improved Collision & Pathfinding - Players could occasionally get stuck in narrow passages, most notably between the Main Area and Storage Area as well as in several other spots, especially while carrying boxes - Makoto will now automatically navigate around nearby obstacles more smoothly, reducing the chance of getting stuck and making movement feel more natural
Story Events
Fixed a bug on the third shift where a taxi could appear while Naomi and Makoto were commenting that there was no taxi in sight
Interactions & Systems
Fixed an issue where improper text would be written down in Makoto's Notepad
Localization
Added full Korean language support
Fixed misspels and missing lines in Japanese, English, German, and Russian
Fixed Spanish localization for conversation with Satoshi outside the store on the 5th shift
Console-specific
Added "Gameplay Center Dot Reticle" feature to consoles - turning it on in Accessibility settings makes a small dot appear at the center of the screen that would help players better navigate and interact with objects
Thank you for your support and suggestions!
