Hello everyone!
We’ve been listening to your feedback and addressing bugs - and now the first batch of improvements for inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is finally here.
By popular demand, we’ve added an ability to WALK FASTER. We’ve also fixed a wide range of bugs and issues. You can check out the full patch notes below.
The patch is available now on Steam and will roll out to all consoles very soon!
Change Log
New Features
Added an ability to WALK FASTER. To turn this on, please open Settings. In "GENERAL" under Accessibility switch "Sprint Button" to "On" and use a corresponding button during gameplay
Gameplay & Mechanics
Improved Boxes stacking
- now if you take the box with Toy Capsules or the box with Marketing Materials while holding a box with products in your hands, the products will not move to the stack of boxes in the Storage Room (since many players weren't able to find the products in the stack of boxes) - the product box will instead be placed in the nearest spot on the floor in the Main Area so that it's easy to find
- If you picked up Toy Capsule/Marketing Materials box while holding an empty box, it'll still go to the stack of empty boxes in the Storage Room
Story Events
Fixed a critical bug where the order in which customers/delivery arrive would mix up if player pressed "I" button on a keyboard
Fixed an issue with Mystery Man on the sixth shift where the dialogue near Freezer wouldn't start properly resulting in a critical bug
Fixed a bug where Satoshi could arrive when the journalist asks to order taxi
Fixed an issue where event with recommending sale items to Mystery Man on the second shift was triggering after the payment is already completed
Fixed a bug causing Satoshi to remain in the store after checkout on 2nd and 3rd shift
Fixed a progression bug caused by Satoshi entering while selecting an extra bag for the Mystery Man on the 5th shift
In a conversation with Delivery Service on the third shift regarding ordering Gonseung Coffee text now says "order 1 box", because Makoto can't order 2 boxes that night. Text was changed for all languages
Interactions & Systems
Improved object targeting responsiveness when interacting with the box of Capsule Toys
Fixed an issue where you could interact with Sink from behind the counter
Improved object targeting when interacting with the Vase on the sixth shift
Fixed an issue where controls would stop working if player started checking customer out and opening text log at the same time
Fixed an issue where players couldn't close Notepad after opening it during checkout cutscene before scanning products
Fixed an issue where players weren't able to interact with Chief on the 5th shift
Cutscenes & Camera
Fixed an issue for slower Text Speed options where lines from some cutscenes would cut off before they were even typed, not allowing players to read the text properly
UI / UX
Fixed a bug where "Decrease/Increase" input would appear in Settings after changing Controller Style
Added Accessibility options in "Settings"
Fixed a bug where dynamic panel would constantly move after exiting interactions
Achievements
Fixed a bug that caused achievement names to be displayed incorrectly (it showed achievement that you unlocked first during that play session)
Localization
Fixed misspels in English and Russian
Visual Fixes
Fixed an issue where Makoto could clip into one of the boxes in the Storage Area on the last night shift
Audio
Fixed an issue where some SFX effects (like Satoshi talking about great tea martial artists on the 2nd shift) were not linked to SFX slider which resulted in louder sounds than intended
Miscellaneous
Added additional names to Credits section
Xbox-speficic bugs
Fixed an issue with accessing DLC on Xbox
Added localized Achievement names for Xbox
