Inked: A Tale of Love changes
Hello everyone 👋, The first patch for Inked is live now! As previously announced, this patch will primarily address some difficulties with controls, but will also offer better usability options. There are also a number of smaller tweaks to the game that we have done which should make certain levels more polished. Here is the changelog:
Mouse and keyboard:
Reduced character momentum when starting and stopping. It should be easier to control the character and make platforming easier.
Added alternative movement type. This allows you to move “forward” using only the “W” key. (Check the Settings / Controls).
Added hotkeys (1-6) to allow quick Sketch object selection.
Controller:
Improved sketch positioning. Sketch object should now be easier to move around the world.
Bugs:
Fixed an issue where drawn object stays hovering in the air. (Water towers)
Fixed an issue where the water was not raised fully to the top. (Water towers)
Improved the movement of buoys (blue floating cubes). (Water towers)
Reduced the speed of the first crocodile in the motorboat section. (Swamp)
Fixed an issue where cowboy hat was not visible behind objects. (Desert)
Fixed an issue where the fight would not start after the character dies. (Top of the mountain Temple boss fight)
Fixed an issue where controller sketch object cursor was invisible in some black background areas. (Factory)
Various other small improvements and bug fixes.
We are continuing our work on the game, still concentrating on improving the experience in every way.
