The forest is still... and she moves through the thorns.
A hunter cloaked in shadows, her hood hiding her thoughts; clad in a sharp yet elegant skirt, she grips her rifle, patiently waiting in the dark.
Flames flicker along the ends of her hair as she weaves through night and brambles. Fearless, she stands ready to protect this land.
Stylists, step into this edition of Behind the Seams for the new outfit, [She Is Wildfire], and explore her story entwined with the forest.ヾ(≧▽≦)ゝ
The Story Behind the Outfit
She Is Wildfire
When she woke, her throat tasted of rotting wood, and on her tongue—blood and ash.
As she opened her eyes, she did not see the trees in the morning mist, nor her mother close by, nor her companions, quiet and kind—only darkness. In the dark, the lies breathed. In the dark, the lies watched.
So she went to find her mother.
She remembered her smile, her stories, her secrets, the soft, bright chime of careful hands. Up the withered tree she climbed—up, up, to where she had looked so many times before—but found only the cold wind laughing, and a nameless grave tangled in thorns.
So she went to find her companions.
She called through the twisted woods—once, and again—but only echoes answered. Eyes that did not know her. Lips that did not call her. They walked on, and on—like puppets in a silent show, like forgotten things left behind by time.
So she went to find the forest.
But the forest turned away. The earth lay still beneath her hands. The streams gave no reply. She ran—roots tore her feet. She cried—the wind swallowed her voice. And in the mist, a whisper came: "Kneel. Yield. You cannot stop the Funeral of the Forest. You cannot go back." It followed close, day after day, cold as ice, drawing nearer and nearer to bend her, to break her.
But she would not yield.
She held fast to her mother's wish. She was the forest's chosen. So she would become the flame—the fire born of deadwood—fierce, and bright, and burning wild—to scour the lying dark.
Resist. Resist.
Taking after her mother, she set to her experiments. Power was all she sought. She would become the wolf.
The first time, she failed. Her claws were blunt, her howl hollow. The darkness jeered, tore her to pieces, and cast her back to the beginning.
The second time, she failed. Miasma crept beneath her fur, and silver mist dimmed her sight. The darkness devoured her shadow until she was but a wavering smear beneath the moon.
The third time, the fourth, the fifth...
The numbers slipped through her grasp, like water through broken fingers. Still, she did not stop.
At the forest's edge, she waited, again and again—but Shroomlings fled in fear, and torchlight would not draw near. The darkness wore down her body—but never her will.
For she remembered— A seed beneath a stone will grow. A storm will always pass.
So she believed—
in the forest,
in fairy tales,
in fire.
Though darkness filled her bones, and all forgot her name, the fire of vengeance in her heart would never be extinguished.
And one day, the dark would pay.
The Inspiration Behind the Design
The design of "She Is Wildfire" draws inspiration from the "Little Red Riding Hood" of Itzaland: a mysterious hunter who moves freely through the forest while guarding this land, carrying on her mother's legacy and striving to take root and grow.
Drawing from Victorian-era aesthetics, the outfit blends steampunk details, flames as symbols of courage, the fierce spirit of "Little Red Riding Hood," and the imposing presence of the Big Bad Wolf, with subtle threads of dark fairy tale woven throughout. The wolf-ear motif on her hood hints at the cunning of the deadliest hunters, who often mask themselves as prey, patiently waiting in the shadows, while her rifle hums with quiet menace—its lethal precision signaling the danger she embodies and the one who must not be approached.
The Details Behind the Design
DRESS: BURNING THORNS
Drawing from steampunk aesthetics, the dress features metal clasps and gear motifs, paired with a leather-cinched waist and muted metallic tones that lend it a touch of vintage flair.
Multiple belt straps balance the complexity of the industrial-inspired design, emphasizing her sharp, battle-ready edge. At the same time, layered skirts and delicate lace weave in a hint of fairy-tale charm. It is a dress both classic and inventive, both elegant and practical—slip it on, and step boldly into a fairy-tale dreamscape.

HAIR: CRIMSON-BOUND LIFE
The hair is styled into twin braids that are both cute and sharp, highlighting the "Little Red Riding Hood" duality—sweet, yet edged with cold resolve. The ends feature subtle gradients and highlights, mimicking flames licking the tips, as if the very air around her carries the scent of fire and danger.

EARRINGS: DEEP WOOD TRACES
The earrings drape thorned roses around bullet casings, as though a tiger leaned in to scent the blooms—hinting at the strength beneath her gentle heart. The bullets serve both as the roots from which the roses grow and as the weapons she wields—the perfect blend of beauty and danger.
OUTERWEAR: EMBERWOOD WANDERINGS
The oversized hooded cape is the centerpiece of the design. The hood hides most of her face and guards her thoughts. With the hood up or down, her gaze shifts—hunter or prey —revealing two entirely distinct moods.
An essential tool for any skilled hunter, the cape shields her from wind and rain, keeps her warm, and lets her move unseen through the forest. Its layered design allows it to bloom like a rose with certain movements, while the straps trailing from her back add a subtle, predatory tension.
Zippers etched across the cape resemble scars hidden beneath thorned roses —symbols of a hunter who has faced countless setbacks yet carries fearless courage.

PENDANT: THORN WALKER
The contrasting themes of "hunter" Little Red Riding Hood are what make her so compelling—she appears harmless, yet beneath the elegant, flowing skirt lies the cold precision and deadly skill of a true hunter. Tactical leg armor is cleverly hidden beneath the layers, while leather accents shape a sharp, practical silhouette, seamlessly blending steampunk style with her lethal purpose.
The Concept Behind the Ability
The outfit's ability centers on the vengeful "Little Red Riding Hood,"confronting darkness with her rifle as her blade. Her wolf companion is her only solace through long, lonely years—a bond of absolute trust, back to back in life and death. They move as one, advancing and retreating in perfect harmony. To strengthen this sense of companionship, the wolf can perform linked attacks in its regular form during battle, and in moments of peril, transform into its larger, more menacing form to drive back enemies. Outside of combat, it can traverse rivers and obstacles in giant form, unimpeded by dark magic. Even in its small form, the wolf remains soft and approachable, symbolizing that Little Red Riding Hood has not been consumed by hatred, and that her connection to the forest endures—resilient and unwavering.
