Welcome to patch 0.9.01c!
A bunch of these changes have been seen in the quiet 0.8 launch we had around a month ago, and now we've further improved on those changes and additional content.
MAJOR FEATURE: New VFX System
In continued efforts to modernize the visuals of the game we have reworked the visual particle effects systems for cards, card abilities and background animations, adding dozens of new visual spectacles as well as play animations for many cards.
MAJOR FEATURE: New Roguelike Content
Many improvements and updates to the roguelike gamemode have been made, including tuning to various AI decks, new roguelike only neutral cards and relics, and new challenges to fight. Finally we have a save system that allows you to save a custom hero image.
MINOR ADDITIONS / CHANGES
New Flying visual battlefield effect, with plans for more onfield animations for keywords
Improvements to the upgrade system for future use with non-unit cards
New Global Relics
New Battlefields
Improvements to the xp and account systems
Hero card now always animate
A number of exciting new systems we will be making available soon
BUG FIXES
Fixed stability issues with roguelike mode after 3 rounds
Fixed Tome of Health triggering multiple times a game in some situations
Fixed an end of game loop that gave infinite xp and losses
Fixed various broken animations
Fixed issues with the main menu scroll buttons
Fixed various textbox issues
Fixed various battlefield alignment issues
Fixed roguelike hero customisations bugs
And many more minor fixes
A lot of our work has been going towards the IW2 prototype, and you'll likely be seeing some new updates on that hopefully in the coming weeks. Until then, jump into a few games of IH and enjoy the new visual upgrades and adventure mode!
