Hi all,
The optimizations from the Beta (Performance) build are now in Live and the Demo! You can read more about those changes in the last post here. Ongoing optimizations will continue to be made, but this is a big one, please check it out!
One of the most requested features is the ability to use excess GP somehow, because you can become capped at 999 quite quickly if you have a favorite Guise. Players have also said that it's no fun trying to get new characters up to speed when they have no GP to spend. Today's update attempts to fix both of these issues by introducing a new feature: The GP Pool.
This new feature allows you to dump your character's GP into a shared "Pool"that can be drawn from and used on other characters on any Guise you wish. GP can be dumped in a rate divided by 5 which allows for you to get a leg up on your Guises, but doesn't remove the need to collect GP completely.
Along with this update are a number of improvements to Guises, optimizations to many areas including overworld load times, and general bugfixes. Please feel free to join us on Discord if you have any questions or just want to talk about the game, the community is very warm and welcoming.
If you were using the Performance build you can now change it back None to go back to the Live version which includes the same improvements as that build. Please note that the Performance build will likely become a more generalized Beta build at some point when new features are being tested, but may fall out of date with Live. I will make an update when there's something new to check out that's not quite ready for Live.
