Inertia changes
Inertia is coming back to PC.
It's been a seriously long time. Since Inertia launched in 2017, a lot has changed for us at Loneminded, and for what we want to make. We went on to develop Exertus and ADVERSE, which were both games we were passionate about.
However, since 2022 we've released a lot of titles - predominantly on Nintendo Switch with an awful quantity over quality approach, if we're being honest with ourselves. Somewhere along the way the focus shifted from making games we were passionate about and wanted to play, to just shipping products. The numbers showed it. The passion showed it too - or rather, the lack of it. We've been away from Steam and PC since 2022, but we want to return to our roots - back to developing games just for fun as a hobby, games we actually want to play.
Inertia never had that problem. Nine years later it's still selling, still being played, and we're still receiving messages from players asking the same question - is there ever going to be a sequel on PC?
The answer is yes.
Inertia 2: Definitive Edition is coming to PC in Early Access this November.
It's built from the ground up based on everything Inertia ended on - the fluid movement, the precision platforming, the sense that you're always one good run away from something perfect. But bigger, deeper, more refined and improved based on our players' ongoing feedback, from day one.
Everything the original incorporated during it's Early Access period - Workshop support, leaderboards, achievements, a full level creator - is available from day one in the Definitive Edition.

As a note on Early Access: the game is complete and playable from day one. Starting with 30 official levels, the full level creator, Steam Workshop, and leaderboards are all live from launch.
The level creator gives players access to the complete suite of tools and elements we use to build official levels - every geometry piece, every gameplay element, everything.
We're entering Early Access to grow the community, incorporate player feedback, and make sure the game is everything it should be before 1.0. Workshop levels created during Early Access carry forward to full release - so the community starts building from day one.
Inertia 2: Definitive Edition is now on Steam ahead of its November 2026 Early Access release, so you can go over to the store page and wishlist now!
We're glad to be back.
The Loneminded Team.
