Development Status

Hello everyone,

I want to apologize for being quiet for so long.

It has been a while since the last major update, and I know that has been frustrating. I should have addressed this earlier, and I'm sorry for that.

Today, I'm releasing a small update for INCUR Survival. It includes bug fixes, engine and visual improvements, UI updates, and some minor gameplay additions. You can find the full patch notes below.

I also want to explain what happened during that time.

INCUR Survival is my first public game, and the project has grown much larger than I can handle on my own. A lot of the core systems weren’t planned well enough early on, so even small fixes or additions turned into much bigger tasks than they should have.

I have tried to keep working on the game, but progress has been very slow. My work schedule and hardware limits made it hard to keep working on it consistently. I work long hours, six days a week, and I spend a lot of time traveling for work. On top of that, the project has become demanding enough that it now requires my home desktop PC for development and testing, so I can’t really work on it from my laptop when I’m away.

This patch does not mean regular active development is coming back.

For now, if I update the game again, it will most likely only be for small fixes. I can’t promise major new features, large content updates, or regular development.

I’m not quitting game development, but I need to learn from this experience and keep future projects smaller and more manageable.

Thank you to everyone who supported INCUR Survival and gave my first game a chance. I really appreciate it, and I apologize for not sharing this sooner.

Special thanks to LinuxZombie for continued support, feedback, and help throughout the game’s development.
