The main focuses of this update are improving the usability of Decorate, one of the game’s core features, and reducing performance load during gameplay.

With this update, information about what effects can be obtained through Decorate will now be shown in the description field of medicine items, making Decorate a more accessible and practical option for players—especially newcomers—when planning their dungeon strategy.

We are also adding new convenient Decorate effects and strengthening existing ones, increasing the number of options available to players who want to aim for victory through careful play rather than relying solely on luck.

As part of our efforts to reduce performance load, we are also changing the game’s previous variable FPS behavior so that the frame rate will now be capped at around 60 FPS.

This is expected to significantly reduce system load, especially for players using high-spec environments, and should also help alleviate issues such as loud fan noise during gameplay.

  • Added effect descriptions to medicine item descriptions in 「持ち物」 and 「コヨリニウム実験装置」, showing what effect will be applied when the item is used in Decorate

  • Added new Decorate effects

    • When 「カオスな薬」 is Decorated onto armor, it now prevents the 「予言」 status, similar to the 「自律」 Sign

    • When 「激辛スパイス」 is Decorated onto armor, it now prevents decreases to upgrade values and Sign removal from equipped items, similar to the 「ムシクイーンの標本」

    • When 「目薬」 is Decorated onto armor, items and chips can no longer be stolen, similar to the 「防犯」 Sign

    • When 「エンチャントファイア」 is Decorated onto armor, it now prevents items in the inventory from becoming frozen

    • When 「不動の薬」 is Decorated onto armor, it now prevents items from being dropped and prevents equipment from being forcibly unequipped The Decorate effect that prevented the 「予言」 status in previous versions has been changed.

Adjustments / Improvements

  • Changed the game so that FPS is now capped at around 60 at most This helps reduce system load and suppress fan noise.

  • Enhanced Decorate effects These effects have been buffed enough to become a practical option when exploring floors that feel risky without special countermeasures, or when trying to recover from sudden dangerous situations.

    • Significantly increased the activation rates of various Decorate effects that inflict status effects

    • Increased the effectiveness values of Decorate effects granted by 「力の薬」, 「PP薬」, 「生命薬」, 「精霊薬」, 「霞食いの薬」, and 「マヨになる薬」

  • Changed armor Decorate effects using 「防犯」 or 「目薬」 so that they can now prevent the effects of 「マネタイズの罠」

  • Changed armor Decorate effects using 「名状しがたい触手」 or 「不動の薬」 so that they can now prevent the effects of 「落とし物の罠」

  • Adjusted dungeon element placement

    • Increased the appearance rate of 「巨大なお肉」 in 「ホロウライブ」

    • Reduced the number of traps placed on the early floors of 「ホロウライブ」

    • Changed 「インデックス撹拌領域」 so that 「ポジション替えのライト」 can now appear there

    • Increased the appearance rate of 「実用化のカード」 in 「インデックス撹拌領域」

    • Reduced the appearance rates of 「バーチャル胃袋」, 「3枚目の地図」, 「探偵のルーペ」, 「螺鈿のセンス」, 「大胸筋バンド」, 「あぶない暖房具」, and 「星の原石」 in 「インデックス撹拌領域」 These appearance rates were not all adjusted by the same amount.

  • Reduced the defense of some enemies appearing on the final floor of 「ホロウライブ」

  • Lowered the initial Attachment rate in 「インデックス撹拌領域」

  • Changed the game so that items can now also be appraised through swapping while 「螺鈿のセンス」 is equipped or while under the 「拾い鑑定」 status

  • Changed player behavior so that when the player is hit by a normal attack, they will no longer automatically turn toward the attacker if there is a Hollow directly in front of them

  • Even if a Hollow is visually in front of the player, it is not considered “in front” if it is in a position where a normal attack cannot reach, such as around a wall corner.

  • Changed the game so that if 「ホロウライブ」 is cleared for the first time, the 「巨大助手くんロボット」 feature is unlocked immediately after the clear event

  • Changed menus such as 「アイテムチェスト」, 「巨大助手くんロボ」, and 「いろはの打ち粉」 so that the cancel button can now be used Support for 「ダンジョン挑戦」 and 「階段」 will be handled separately in a future update.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where 「合成の箱」 could fail to appear through normal procedures even when its conditions had been met

  • Fixed a bug where the lightning attack of the 「みこのホロウ」 family could not be avoided by swapping positions with 「ポジション替えのライト」

  • Fixed a bug where, when paying chips to the same individual Hollow of the 「ルイのホロウ」 family for the second time or later, the amount shown in the log was displayed as the total amount paid so far

  • Fixed a bug where, when receiving a sales pitch from 「大幹部のホロウ」, the player could not receive the item unless they had an empty box

  • Fixed a bug where, in certain situations, if a box was destroyed by pressure from the 「ころねのホロウ」 family, multiple items could end up existing on the same floor tile

  • Fixed a bug where, while 「螺鈿のセンス」 was equipped or while under the 「拾い鑑定」 status, if the inventory was full, the identified item name could still appear in the log even though the item could not actually be picked up

  • Fixed a bug where, when selling items in 「倉庫」, the amount shown in the log was capped at 9,999 Even in previous versions, the actual process of adding the sale amount to the player’s money was functioning correctly.

  • Fixed a bug where the right and bottom edges of the map on the final floor of 「ホロウライブ」 were not displayed correctly

  • Fixed a bug where it was not possible to transition from 「足元」 to the 「階段」 menu while progressing through the tutorial dungeon

  • Fixed a bug where a Hollow’s Lv. display could sometimes appear embedded in a wall and become invisible

  • Fixed a bug where floor rendering could become incorrect in certain situations

We have also confirmed an issue in some environments where the edge of the screen in the direction of movement may appear black, especially during high-speed movement. We plan to continue investigating and addressing this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We also plan to address additional items not listed above in future updates. In addition to improving existing features and fixing bugs, we are also planning to introduce new content.
