The world of Uuld is under siege by the Vampyr who have destroyed and devoured all but a few remaining strongholds of civilization. Take up arms as Shade, the last surviving vampire hunter who now struggles against the same vampiric curse that destroyed their civilization. Fight your way through the twisted labyrinth of horror and decay to face the lord of all vampires, the Pale King. Use the blood curse to your advantage, but know this -- it comes at a terrible cost.
