What changed

0 fixes2 additions3 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
changedHere is a broad scope of what was changed:
addedNew Chat System! It is much more alive: with different characters, with gods, heroes and random dudes reacting to your actions and replying to each other. It now has over 800 lines! 9 character types, each with a unique set of tones. Hopefully, it will be refreshing and more fun now! And we plan to expand it further!
changedNew lighter stream UI! We've made it both "lighter" and more informative. Plus, we significantly expanded and improved the hint system - so figuring out what's what should be much easier now.
addedNew Demands/Requests system! It updates demands every 60 seconds, based on the chat vote - and you get bonuses if you follow it, or penalties if you fail.
changedTutorial and onboarding are slightly improved - hopefully, it is a bit more fun. Also, the tutorial texts are given in larger chunks, so they are easier to digest (and faster to click through). This is still a temporary solution, as we plan to completely rework it in one of the next 2 even bigger updates.

Hi fellow Sisyphuses!

Our Steam Demo just got a major-minor update! Please give it a try!

Minor in scope - it doesn't touch core systems. Major in quantity of changes.

Here is a broad scope of what was changed:

  • New Chat System! It is much more alive: with different characters, with gods, heroes and random dudes reacting to your actions and replying to each other. It now has over 800 lines! 9 character types, each with a unique set of tones. Hopefully, it will be refreshing and more fun now! And we plan to expand it further!

  • We gave up most of the pixel fonts and switched to "normal" ones. Too many people were hurt in their eyes by the game, but that's not where Sisyphus should hurt you. Now it should be much more readable! Which will be even more important with the upcoming updates.

  • We streamlined trick-choice - you don't need to open that weird "trick panel" anymore - you choose tricks right away, with mouse or keyboard. This should reduce frustration by exactly 46.2% for most people. How do I know? Intuition, my friends.

  • New lighter stream UI! We've made it both "lighter" and more informative. Plus, we significantly expanded and improved the hint system - so figuring out what's what should be much easier now.

  • New Demands/Requests system! It updates demands every 60 seconds, based on the chat vote - and you get bonuses if you follow it, or penalties if you fail.

  • Tutorial and onboarding are slightly improved - hopefully, it is a bit more fun. Also, the tutorial texts are given in larger chunks, so they are easier to digest (and faster to click through). This is still a temporary solution, as we plan to completely rework it in one of the next 2 even bigger updates.

I hope you'll like these updates! And there are even more to come
