📝A quick note before the patch notes
This update has taken much longer than expected.
Originally, version 0.3 was supposed to be released as a single, large update encompassing all events, artifacts, new classes, upgrades, enemies, and several side systems.
Over time, the project became too ambitious to develop effectively at my own pace. Between studies, work, several unexpected personal issues, and simply a lot of accumulated fatigue over the months, I finally realized that continuing in this direction wasn't a good idea.
Rather than making you wait several more months, I've decided to completely change my approach.
Version 0.3 will now be released in several parts: 0.3-A, 0.3-B, 0.3-C, etc.
Each part will bring its own set of content until the entirety of Update 0.3 is considered complete.
This first step lays the groundwork for the event system and introduces the Museum as well as the game's first artifacts.
🎲New Event System
Events are here!
Special activities can now periodically appear on the map and offer various rewards.
For this initial release, only one event is available:
⛏️Archaeology
An excavation site may appear on the map.
Unearth valuable rewards by uncovering the cases in the mini-game and try to obtain rare resources or artifacts.
🏛️Museum & Artifacts
A new building has been added: the Museum.
You can now view your collection of artifacts discovered during your adventure.
14 artifacts have been added:
🟢5 Common
🔵4 Rare
🟣3 Epic
🟡2 Legendary
Note: Some artifacts are already in the game but are not yet obtainable.
They will become available in future parts of version 0.3 when their associated events are added.
🧬New Class Evolutions
Three new evolutions are now available:
🎯 Hunter → Tracker
⛏️ Miner → Drill
🌵 Gatherer → Harvester
🖥️Game updated to 1920x1080
All game interfaces have been reworked to properly support the 1920x1080 resolution.
All main menus have been adapted to the new format.
🎨Visual Improvements
Realigned several cameras.
Added cleaner camera boundaries.
Partial redesign of beaches.
Added new environmental decorative elements.
Fixed off-map building placement.
⚖️Balancing
Standardized the behavior of rocks and cacti.
Reduced some unintentional production discrepancies during longer matches.
Various adjustments related to the new classes.
🔧 Miscellaneous
20 new zombie names added.
New cursor color.
Several minor bug fixes.
Optimizations and cleanup of various internal systems.
🔮 What's next?
Version 0.3 is not finished.
The next parts will include:
🌪️ the other planned events: Fishing, Nature, Infection, and Twirling
🧪 new improvements

🏆 new achievements
👌 several quality-of-life features.
Updates will now be smaller but also more frequent.
I will also start working on other projects in parallel to maintain a healthier development cycle and avoid falling back into the pattern that led to my burnout these past few months.
