Idle Library changes
Hi everyone,
Thank you for playing Idle Library - it's meant a lot to have so many of you spend time with a library game I made. I've been working on something new, and I wanted to share it with the people who supported the first one.
I also want to be upfront about something. A lot of you gave honest feedback about AI-generated content in Idle Library. I heard you, and I took it seriously - The Night Librarian contains no AI-generated content. The writing and artwork are entirely my own.
It's a different kind of game from Idle Library - a cozy mystery puzzle game (though I clearly couldn't stay away from libraries). You play the night-shift librarian at Ashwood Library: sort the returns, find the books patrons are after, and set the shelves right before morning. But the longer you work, the more you notice the library isn't quite… empty. Across five nights, a mystery unfolds.
No timers, no pressure - just you, 22 hand-made puzzles, a candlelit library, and a mystery that slowly gets under your skin.
It's coming to Steam this July at $2.99, and wishlisting it now genuinely helps me have a real launch as a solo dev:

Thank you - for playing the first game, and for giving this one a look.
