Small Update: Demo 0.3.53

Fix the tree simulation so trees don't die out over time. Rebalance the tree growth parameters so we get a nice long-term balance of species on most maps.

  • Change factory crafting so it draws energy over time during a craft rather than all at once at the start.

  • Reduce the power consumption of the printer.

  • Increase the duration of the printer recipes.

  • Reduce the battery size of all crafting buildings because, with incremental draw, the large battery is no longer needed.

  • Add a confirmation box if you close the game window in windowed mode.

  • Frame rate setting in graphics. Large factories will run better at 60fps (or less) because that is the rate the simulation runs at and trying to squeeze a simulation step in an 8ms window at 120fps is rough.

  • Search will now find floating logs and beacons will highlight logs in water even if the terrain filter is set to "no water."

  • "if requested by" now returns negative numbers it the target has more items than it is requesting.

  • Fix a case where rotating a conveyor segment breaks the whole conveyor.

  • Set the team to the default when repairing a building.

  • Don't count space on conveyors when calculating building free space.

  • Significant performance improvements particularly for factories with lots of conveyor belts.
