The Saving Contrition I forgot that sleeping just dumps Ramona outside her apartment, skipping the switch that locks using the Artifact Gacha/Tarot. That's fixed now.

fixedI forgot that sleeping just dumps Ramona outside her apartment, skipping the switch that locks using the Artifact Gacha/Tarot. That's fixed now.
changedComments on the saving system made me aware of a specific quirk of RPG Maker: if you're playing a common event within an event and save, reloading cancels out the rest of the common event and just continues the rest of the base event, which explains some of the weirdness people reported. As such, those events will save twice as a failsafe.
addedAutosave added for (hopefuloly) every big milestone in the third tier quests since they're larger than the others.
removedGame now properly asks you whether or not you want to buy the hint for The Controller, so now Patrick no longer robs you in return for unsolicited advice.
addedTo go along with the saves added to the lighthouse, leaving the lighthouse secretly gifts you money if you're below fare so you could safely call a ride home to prevent dying on the way home and leaving you stuck in a potentially softlocked game.
removedSome of you mentioned an unusable skill for Devon called "Please Shut Up." I thought about it and well, I decided to remove it altogether. Its utility was that it was a stance that'd raise his physical attack, but I realized a) Kyrie already has the physical attacker niche b) most people got on fine without it, so why not just remove it entirely?

  • Since the Waking Stones is largely a safe place, you can open those there now too.

  • Comments on the saving system made me aware of a specific quirk of RPG Maker: if you're playing a common event within an event and save, reloading cancels out the rest of the common event and just continues the rest of the base event, which explains some of the weirdness people reported. As such, those events will save twice as a failsafe.

  • Autosave added for (hopefuloly) every big milestone in the third tier quests since they're larger than the others.

Other Fixes

  • Can't get bounty office info on a few guys that get got offscreen.

  • Game now properly asks you whether or not you want to buy the hint for The Controller, so now Patrick no longer robs you in return for unsolicited advice.

  • Party properly reappears after disappearing for a cutscene.

  • Emperor and Judgement can properly only be used in battle

  • 3rd stratum chest in the casino should properly work now lol

Changes

  • To go along with the saves added to the lighthouse, leaving the lighthouse secretly gifts you money if you're below fare so you could safely call a ride home to prevent dying on the way home and leaving you stuck in a potentially softlocked game.

  • Ambush encounters disappear during briefing at the harbor so nothing can potentially interrupt the cutscenes.
