Time for the first scheduled patch! The launch was a bit of a rollercoaster, with an overall very positive reception, but a few more bugs than I would have liked. There are still a few issues that I will have to sort out in the coming days and weeks, so expect the patches to keep rolling in.
This patch offers some bug fixes, but mostly some overall improvements.
Improvements: - Added a 'flashlight' for the darker scenes. When delving through sewers or traversing icy cliffs at night, sometimes you need a little bit of help navigating. That's where the flashlight comes in! You can activate/deactivate it by pressing left Control (when using a keyboard) or dpad up (when using a controller). You can also see that on screen. - Changed the dark blue color used for 'Rare' rarity and 'Buff' type Abilities to a lighter shade, so it's easier to see against the dark backgrounds. - Ensured all of the sound effects for Abilities are properly routed to the 'Effects' channel so they are affected by the audio settings. - You can now see what Level the final boss is at!
Content: - Added 'Skald' to the pool of Enemies you can face in a few Realms. this poor Giant had been sitting on the sideline for no reason.
Bug fix: - Fixed an issue where the 'Don't give a command' option was sometimes not available (and showed a '1' instead of the proper key).
