V0.7 Preview is technically a v0.65, but since some of the systems intended for v0.7 were already in a functional, or at least a preview state, we decided to throw them in the mix as a sneak peek.

Major Gaming Upgrades

  • Players can now manually drop charges with a new dedicated button (left trigger or left Alt)

  • Failed drop resets the speed straight to 0, as opposed to going one speed lower in the previous versions

  • There is a whole new skillcheck phase that unlocks after a successful drop, while holding the trigger button

  • After passing required amount of skillchecks (speed dependent), players will get to enter the Walker cockpit preview. Walking mechanics is planned for the next version.

  • Classes are now even more specialized

  • -- Hunter automatically drops charges in small intervals and can only progress with exactly one charged cube

  • -- Empress & Mystic don't automatically drop charges, players have to do this manually

  • -- Empress can jump either one or two zones forward, with each of the charged cubes independently

Bugfixes & Improvements

  • VR optimized. All visual systems have been adjusted for VR experience and are fully immersive now

  • Corner cubes now have charge indicators inside of them that help especially Empress and Mystic classes to plan ahead charge drop combinations

  • Skillcheck phase has its own new circular grid

  • Input System have been reworked to a more elegant yet robust solution, but only on Windows, Linux build intended primarily for Steam Deck had to be reverted to the old version

  • Unplugging and reconnecting a gamepad mid-session, or simply switching to keyboard should now work without issues

  • Charges no longer staying in the grid after the clock runs out in Grind mode

  • Bloom of the sequencer has been capped and is also resetting to init values between sessions
