Dev Update!
We thought we would take some time to give a little update on some of what we've been up to. Karl has been mainly hard at work on the artificial intelligence at the moment and that is going to fill in for real players so you can always train or play even solo. He has also been kicking butt on a whole whack of networking implementation and features for local and online. Dave has been working on Level Design and Character Design. For the levels currently, there are:
RoofTop Full mobility range, no hazards for pure skill battles
Streets Bottleneck in the middle of the level, aerial attacks
Ice Cliffs With slippery surfaces and cliffs to fall off
Fire Pits Fire pits on each side of a tower for close quarters combat
For the five characters, they each have a unique visual taunt that matches their personality now and also each a few text-based trash talks. Each character has the teabagging ability in case antagonizing is your only option or you just need to serve up some salt! We have a bunch more things we have been working on while this is taking place. There is always lots to do with just the two of us but we are focused on getting Hyper Slasher in peoples hands so they can start slashing noobs/getting rekt as soon as possible!
