Hunters In The Dark changes
It’s been a while since our last update, but we haven’t been quiet behind the scenes. We’ve been busy polishing, fixing, balancing, and getting Hunters In The Dark ready for more players to try.
The Red Zone has been expanded with the Big Eye wake/sleep mechanic, bouncy walls, improved collisions, lighting, and level polish.
Online play got a lot of attention, with fixes for lobby flow, hunt progression, disconnect handling, and Steam lobby stability.
Balance, pickups, bot's AI have been tuned, including chest spawning, speed modifiers, and pickup effects.
Hunt results and completion have been reworked with clearer result screens, theme thumbnails, completion coins, and new achievement-style notifications.
The menus and UI have had a broad polish pass, covering theme/game mode selection, online lobby screens, credits, icons, fonts, and navigation.
And the most exciting part is that the demo-specific infrastructure is now ready,
and the demo will be available this week on Steam for everyone to try it!
In short: the game should feel smoother, clearer, more stable, and more fun to play.
