Hungry Horrors changes
Patch 0.1.9 is now live
It has been three weeks since Hungry Horrors launched, and we want to start by saying thank you. The feedback, bug reports, and suggestions we’ve received have been incredibly helpful in shaping this update.
This patch focuses primarily on stability and polish, squashing as many issues as possible while addressing some of the most common requests with new quality of life features.
We are continuing development based on your input, and more content and systems are already in progress. You can see what we’re working toward here: Roadmap (Spoilers ahead Obviously!)

Skippable dialogue
Dishes sortable by flavour and craving
5 save slots now available
Changes & Improvements
Added confirmation for seasoning when there is only 1 slot
Gold is no longer capped at zero and can go into debt
Back/discard button now navigates one level up when nested in Compendium
Discarding cookware confirmation popup
Púca lore available
Tooth potions still change craving if Crave Freeze is active
Sort criteria remembered
View current deck when using campfire

Game opening on wrong monitor fixed (Windows)
Seasoning applied correctly when dish page greater than 1
Missing Cook button translations added
Seasoned dishes showing in shop correctly
Spit Skewer retriggers correctly on last step when loved
Draw and discard pagination fixed
Lady Catherine pet achievement triggers correctly (not in Playtest)
Feedback button links correctly to feedback form
Nook overlay no longer visible when pausing before bed
Town ambience looping correctly
UI visible after Morgana town scene
Invisible chest removed from Nook room
Brahan Seer scroll deduction matches price
Door unlock trigger repositioned for animation visibility
Hesitance potion interaction with Goblet fixed
Gravy Boat no longer triggers after battle
Purge Remedy restores correct hunger value
Duplicate gold doors removed in edge cases
Seasoning filter overlap fixed
Seasoning page remains when applying seasoning
Max stamina display issue fixed when above 100
Nook confirmation shown when near death
Horror preference icon updates correctly in taste test
Spelling corrections across multiple languages
French, Italian, Spanish language mix ups fixed
Save reload crashes fixed in certain cases
Recipe chest gives gold when all recipes known
Discard cookware mid battle no longer exits combat
Chest scroll reward capped correctly when pool exhausted
Craving chain reset behaviour corrected for hated dishes
Hesitate overwrite issue fixed
Seen spices now saved properly
Negative gold formatting fixed
Sanctuary heal spam removed
Hesitate not applied when Horror does not step
Nook typos corrected
