Added a large number of storyline events for other noble clans.
When visiting other clans, players have a chance to encounter various ongoing events. Most events are interactive, while a small number are non-interactive. By participating in these events, players can deepen interactions with other clans and even influence relationships between them.
Examples include private troop rebellions, internal scandals, or disputes between clans joined through marriage. Events are displayed at the bottom of the other clan’s panel and can be interacted with by clicking.
The protagonists of these events are members of the clan whom the player can meet during visits, meaning the more members you encounter, the higher the chance of triggering events.
Introduced official conflict mechanics in the court system.
Conflicts may arise between superiors and subordinates or among colleagues. Players can choose to instigate or mediate these disputes. Successfully instigating a conflict will cause one official to resign without affecting their relationship with the player.
Official conflict events may appear at the bottom of city panels and can be clicked to interact.
Added the “Review Administrative Conduct” feature to prefectural cities.
If a clan member serves as a Censor, players may review the administrative conduct of each prefecture once per year. If misconduct cases are discovered, they can be directly reported to the emperor.
A large number of administrative cases have been added. This feature can be accessed from the prefectural city panel.
Added numerous “Public and Court Opinion” events to the court system.
These events may appear at the bottom of city panels. Players can choose to amplify or suppress public opinion.
Successfully amplifying public opinion will result in the removal of the event’s main official from office without affecting their relationship with the player.
Divided responsibilities among the four Censor positions in the capital.
Each Censor is now responsible for overseeing administrative conduct in three prefectures, as well as appointing Prefectural Censors.
Specific jurisdictions can be viewed by hovering over the official title in the capital panel.
Added the ability to host banquets for fellow officials.
If a clan member holds an official position in a location, the player may host one banquet per month. During banquets, officials may raise various requests; fulfilling them increases relationship values.
This resolves the issue in previous versions where interaction with officials from other clans was difficult.
Centralized the Ministry of Revenue’s fiscal audits of prefectures and counties at the prefectural level.
Players no longer need to audit each county individually. Audit frequency has also been adjusted to once per year.
Added more fief-related events, including civilian disputes and strange or mysterious tales. Players may even obtain rare items from these events.
Added interesting dialogue for the ghosts of deceased clan members in graveyards.
There is also a chance to obtain rare items from these spirits.
Added the “National Chronicle” system.
This feature records major national events throughout the game, such as territorial recoveries, imperial successions, deposition or appointment of crown princes, reduction of feudal kings, clan rebellions, and regional uprisings.
The National Chronicle can be accessed via “State Affairs” in the capital panel.
Please note: loading earlier saves may cause inaccuracies in the Chronicle. Players may delete incorrect records if a clan member serves as Minister of Rites. Events prior to this update cannot be recorded retroactively.
Fixed an issue where some text overlapped.
Fixed a rare bug where clan members sent on expeditions could not return.
