This update mainly serves as the final polish for Version II: Echoes in History. Our primary focus has been on improving overall performance and gameplay experience. Details are as follows:
Performance Optimization
Significant effort has been devoted to improving game performance. The new version delivers noticeable improvements, with higher frame rates in most scenarios. (Extreme cases may still be affected, such as saves with exceptionally large clans of over a thousand members.)
One-Click Residence Assignment
Added a new feature that allows you to assign residences to all adult clan members with a single click. After entering an estate, open the management panel and select “Assign All Clan Members to Residence.” This will automatically assign all adult members without housing to any vacant main chambers within the estate.
News Display Settings
Added display settings for the News. Players can now choose whether to show interactive and non-interactive events.
- When no events are displayed, a “Display Settings” button will appear on the News.
- You can also adjust these settings from the top of any event panel.
New Clan Filter Option
Added a new filter in the clan management panel: Filter by whether a member currently has an active event, making it easier to track and manage ongoing situations.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where clan members with the Sterile trait could still become pregnant after consuming Passion Pills.
- Fixed an exploit where items could be farmed infinitely while clearing weeds.
- Fixed an issue where the County Chief Censor could be dismissed by a hostile Provincial Governor. Only the Imperial Chief Censor now has the authority to do so.
- Fixed an issue where some clan members would not appear for Bestow Marriage.
- Fixed an issue where, in rare cases, clan members from other families would not age.
- Fixed inconsistencies in certain UI logic.
- Fixed unreasonable event frequency in some cases (e.g., excessive resource demands from the Empire).
- Fixed various text errors and overflow issues.
- Fixed an issue where, when appointing officials, selecting the option for members of your own clan could sometimes display members from other families.
- Fixed an issue where clan members could occasionally disappear and were not recorded in the Family Chronicle or burial list.
- Fixed an issue where reinforcement requests from the empire would not register correctly, even when the required number of troops had already been assigned.
- Fixed an issue where players would receive a notification that their estate was raided when an unowned estate (not belonging to the player's clan) was attacked by rebels.
