Day of the Dead has come - and the underworld’s been busy. This might be our biggest development update yet, bringing fundamental changes to gameplay, the scoring system, and the engine itself.
- [Game Engine Update] — Long story shortwe switched to the Universal Render Pipeline. This makes the game look better with new shaders, improved textures, particles, and lighting — all without sacrificing performance.
[Combo Meter & Tasks] — More ways to earn! Not only will you be counting the bodies, but every single hit on the Hellspawn without taking damage adds to your new combo meter (and thus your score)! Completing all given tasks in one zone earns you a MEGA BONUS SCORE.
[Visual Overhaul] — With the URP update, we’ve tweaked the settings to be darker and more atmospheric.
[Civilians] — Jesus Christ, some of them are still alive.
[Melee is Back] — Slice ’n’ dice the Hellspawn that make it through your bullet rain with the second mouse button!
