changedBeauty of the PlanetLast months have been very fruitful in all aspects of Honeycomb’s development. From the technical stuff to graphical changes and even the main story of the game(but let’s not get away with the spoilers). Here’s a little screenshot straight from the in-game photo mode! Look how much Hennessy and the world around her has changed! Steam post image Those more observant of you might notice that the entire lightning has been improved a bit. In truth, we had to do it just so we could take more cool and dreamy scenes. Just like this one… Steam post image
addedLet’s just say our Concept Artists keep working on some amazing stuff…With the cat out of the bag - or should I say fireflies just above our hands - we also wanted to share with you some of the stuff we keep working on. Even though our team is working their hardest, they still manage to surprise us with the new things they’ve designed for the game. Steam post image Steam post image
addedIt lives!Trees won’t bring much life to the game unless we ensure that the entire world feels truly alive… But don’t worry, we’ve thought it through! Now, Hennessy isn’t just focused on what’s beneath her feet - she also has to pay attention to what’s happening above. Additionally, as you approach animals, you can scan them to gather valuable information. But be careful - not all of them will be happy about it! Sometimes, you’ll need to find a way to gain their trust and get closer. Steam post image And what is this mysterious creature? Steam post image Camilla! How’re you doing these days? Steam post image Look how beautiful the Amber Tree looks by the water! We’ve also wanted to thank you all for such a warm welcome at the GDC! We’ve heard so many warm words of support from those of you who have visited our stand, listened to one of our Dev’s presentation and watched the trailer before we’ve revealed it for all of our viewers! Steam post image Just one more Hennessy for a better goodbye… With that in mind we’ve arrived at the end of this Devlog. There’s still some road ahead of us before the release but the end is already clarifying itself for us. As always we hear you and we read everything you say in the comments.
