v0.2.7 is here with an important checkout bug fix, an updated Store Name customization screen, plus several fixes and improvements.

This update focuses on fixing a very specific checkout issue reported by a small number of players, while also adding more customization options for your store entrance.

Important Checkout Bug Fix

A very specific checkout issue has been fixed in this update.

For some players, customers could reach the checkout counter, but the payment process would not start properly. In these cases, the miniature products would not appear at the checkout, which made it impossible to complete the purchase.

This issue did not happen in every game or for every player. It only appeared under certain specific conditions, which made it difficult to reproduce and track down.

After investigating the issue, I was able to identify the cause and fix it with this update.

If you were one of the players affected by this problem, please try the new version and let me know if everything works correctly now. Your reports and feedback are extremely helpful, especially with rare and specific issues like this.

Store Name Customization Update

The Store Name customization screen has been updated.

Previously, you could change your store name and the color of the store name text.

With this update, you can now also change the wall color behind the store name.

This gives you more control over the look of your store entrance and makes customization feel a bit more personal.

What's Next?

I'm continuing to focus heavily on the Early Access version of Home Store Simulator, which is planned to release this summer.

I'm currently working on major systems for the main version of the game, including the warehouse system, employee systems, and a reworked shoplifter system.

At the same time, I will continue to update and improve the demo as much as I can, especially when important issues are reported by players.
