I'm pushing out Demo Update 0.0.77 with a mix of visual improvements, gameplay refinements, and critical bug fixes. Your feedback from the demo has been invaluable, keep it coming!
NEW FEATURES
Object Throwing: You can now throw objects farther than before. Use it to your advantage!
IMPROVEMENTS
- Hole Creature ReworkThe creature lurking in the hole has been completely redesigned with a brand new look and a proper attack animation.
- Keypad Puzzle VisibilityKeypad puzzle codes are now more visible throughout the world, and their spawn rate on main paths has been increased so you're never left searching for too long.
- Map Selection Moved to In-Game UIMap selection has been moved from the main board to an in-game UI screen launched after startup, giving you a smoother and more intuitive experience. Difficulty options have also been reduced to 2 for better balance.
BUG FIXES
- Escape Key Conflict FixedNon-closeable UI panels could previously be bypassed by pressing Escape to open the pause menu, which caused various issues. This has been resolved.
- Item Drop in Invisible Zone FixedItems could fall into an invisible area near the pickup zone. A collider has been added to prevent this.
Input System Freeze Fixed: A lockup occurred when a gamepad and keyboard/mouse were active simultaneously. The entire input system has been rewritten from the ground up to resolve this.
