One-month Anniversary Update | HitTube 0.0.86.0
Thank you for playing and sharing your feedback! I keep updating the game and I will add a lot more stuff very soon! Short version: A lot of fixes+improvements, gamepad support, new music tracks, stats after we finish a level, thief system, pointer system that navigate players.
Long version:
1.Fixes:
-Localized texts that have not been localized;
-Fixed possible crashes;
-Fixed crosshair being in the wrong place in first-person view (thanks d_koby!);
-Fixed that text didn't dissapear above the teleporter;
-Fixed that items didn't launch VFX at the correct location;
-Fixed the green smoke;
-Fixed that stats of distractions didn't count;
-Fixed that we felt through the floor if we press G on a TV (thanks Sénko!)
-Fixed wrong emotions for NPCs during dialogues;
-Fixed that boxes got stuck in the air sometimes (thanks d_koby!)
-Fixed buttons from the desktop having not correct size when we hover over them.
2.Improvements:
-Added new text materials;
-Less value to change the volume of music/sounds in the settings; (thanks d_koby!)
-Added frames to all widgets where it's needed;
-If the hotel is under fire we skip our meeting with a guard;
-Improved the look of FAQ;
-Improved the look of the final level;;
-Removed useless buttons from inventory;
-Improved text in the credits;
-Improved the look of the level with 3D cards;
-Boxes break faster;
-Removed extra warning that we don't need at all;
-Added animations for 2D cards;
-Removed FPS lock; (thanks EndlessLean!)
-Reduced the volume of walking sounds;
-Added more UI animations;
-NPCs don’t get stuck anymore in the hotel;
-Crosshair always moves and makes hittube more intense;
-We don't talk to the trader suddenly like we did before;
-Disabled "low" and "medium" settings because people can get wrong impression about the game;
-Portal has different color when it's disabled;
-We have battery at our desktop;
-Teleporter in a cistern won't let us out until we clean at least one room;
-We have better explanation of what ALPHA is in the beginning of the game;
-We have special dialogues when human NPC is scared of us;
-After we finish our first room the game won't let us go further because we should go to the teleporter first.
3.NPCs:
-After we attack somebody we get a notification why everybody hates us;
-Added mood VFXs for people from random events;
-Added an achievement for stealing items from human NPCs;
-NPCs from random events mention our name.
4.Thief system:
-Stats count how many items we stole;
-NPC will attack us after we steal;
-Added thief system (we can steal now);
-Added an achievement for stealing.
5.Music:
-Created and added music for customization;
-Created and added music for picking cards;
-Created and added music for the end menu;
-Created and added music for fights;
-Created and added music for hotel.
6.Pointer system:
-Animated buttons for desktop so we know where to press and noobs won't be confused anymore;
-Added a pointer that show us where to press on the map;
-We have a pointer that show us where to go (when we need to go to the teleporter);
-We have a pointer that show us where to go (when we need to go to the trader).
7.Gamepad support:
-Gamepad support for 2D upgrades;
-Gamepad support for dialogues;
-Gamepad support for random events;
-Gamepad support for main menu.
8.Stats:
-We see the stats after we died;
-We see the stats after we finished a level;
-We see the stats after finishing the demo;
-We see the results of each random event;
-Stats mention our name;
-Stats are in one window.
