HistoriCity: Florence changes
Features:
BROTHELS and TAVERNS introduce our new Entertainment mechanic with a new mission - use these structures to satisfy Heads of Households' new need for Entertainment as a housing upgrade requirement, and keep the Tavern stocked with Wine and Mutton to satisfy visitors' existing hunger and thirst needs as well.
MORE HOUSING, QUICKER - a new house and two new apartments extend our housing upgrade chain to nine levels, with tuned upgrade requirements so each level only requires one or two new things
BUTCHER SHOP - assign Butchers to turn Mutton into Chops as a luxury food, now required for Easter Service in larger settlements
Boosted early game immigration rates to improve opening pace
Color-coded residents' needs text based on current satisfaction level (green/yellow/red) to make it much easier to tell what you still need to achieve the next level of housing
More granular city grading (X+/X- grades) and a wider range of mapped values makes it easier to track changes in grades
Reduced derelict houses' undesirability radius so initial housing upgrades can occur without first having to clean up basically the entire derelict town
Removed 20-tile radius limit on pegfolk searching for goods, they now search the entire map
Tuned Easter Service grading for fairness, placing more emphasis on the most recent years
Tuned Market/Churches/Santa Maria max workers, Market max resources
Refreshed per-profession job wheel colors for better differentiation
New dynamic SFX for assign/release worker UI
Female immigrants use different 3D model
Hover hints on all resource icons, regardless of where they appear in the UI
Bugs Fixed:
Artists wouldn't build statues until their workshop was completely full of supplies
Statues installed in plazas were not rendered after a game was saved and loaded
Pausing then unpausing while in a faster game speed reset the game speed back to 1x
Loading a saved game would trigger an extra immigrant spawn event
Plazas' and churches' desirability ranges would shrink instead of grow when a statue was installed after saving and loading a game
Baby sheep slid along the ground when first spawned (also tuned sheep movement to be less spastic / more lumbering)
Emporium "Awaiting Pickup" resource totals became inaccurate when pegfolk set out to collect imported resources
A whole bunch of game text was inaccurate/misleading/omitted information
