Hello everyone! It’s been a busy two weeks at Static Frame Studios, and I’m excited to share the significant progress made on His Last Film. As we march toward June, the focus has shifted from core systems to the fine details that make a horror experience truly immersive.

Players can now select their language at launch through a new dedicated widget. changedHere is what’s new in the latest dev cycle:The Media Player System: A lot of work went into the MediaPlayer system , specifically for a crucial puzzle in that I don’t want to spoil. This includes everything from custom video intros to the UI that connects it all.
addedHere is what’s new in the latest dev cycle:Refined Mechanics & UX: The flashlight system received a major overhaul with new equip animations, better light logic, and critical bug fixes. I’ve also finalized the Main Menu and Pause Menu functionalities, including much-requested volume controls. Sensibility options will be available soon.

I am incredibly happy with how the game is coming together. Seeing the vision for His Last Film transform from a blockout into a polished, atmospheric experience is deeply rewarding.

But the biggest news is... His Last Film will be part of the Steam Next Fest this June!
