HIPS N NOSES changes
It’s been about a month since the HIPS N NOSES playtest ended, but we wanted to let you know that our team has been working hard every day to prepare for the official launch.
We’ve decided to start a development log to keep you updated on our progress and show you the content we’ll be adding in the future.
Since this is our first time, there may be some rough edges, but we plan to keep you updated regularly, so please leave your feedback here! In this development log, we’ll share some of the results from the playtest and discuss what we’ve learned and the direction we’re heading.
Wrap-up of the 1st HIPS N NOSES Open Playtest
This playtest ran for a total of two weeks, from February 20 at 6:00 PM to March 6 at 6:00 PM.
Not only did more people participate than we expected during this short period, but you also shared countless pieces of feedback and suggestions through our community Discord.
Thanks to your support and feedback, we’ve been able to clearly identify areas that need improvement, and we’re working toward the most balanced version of HIPS N NOSES for launch.
Once again, we sincerely thank everyone who participated.
Now that the playtest has concluded, we’d like to share some of the results we’ve gathered over the entire period!
Longest Playtime
The player who spent the most time with the playtest version played for 6 hours!
Considering that this build is roughly 2 hours long, it seems you played through it multiple times!
Highest Revenue
Among those who reached Day 7—the end of this build—the player who generated the most revenue earned a whopping 16,434!
Considering the game’s revenue goal was 7,500, that’s an impressive figure.
Most Popular Weapon
Remember the system that lets you switch weapons before entering combat?
The weapon most players chose was Mela’s Pillow!
As we’ve seen from your feedback, many of you feel that Mela’s weapon and skills are overpowered compared to others, so we’ll need to balance the performance of the other characters as well.
Future Plans
We are working quickly to prepare for the official launch at the end of this year.
Currently, development for the second week’s content is nearly complete, and you’ll be able to see the added content in more detail in the next development log.
