Heroic Musical Chairs changes
June 1st will be a very important milestone for our small team.
After many months of development, testing, bug fixing, and passionate discussions about musical chairs, players will finally be able to discover Heroic Musical Chairs and play it with their friends, family, or community.
For us, this is also a special moment: Heroic Musical Chairs is the first game released by our studio, and even the first game that most members of the team have ever worked on. Needless to say, we're incredibly excited to see your first matches, your reactions, your most ridiculous clips... and of course, hear your feedback.
So, what exactly is Heroic Musical Chairs?
The idea started with a very serious question (or a very silly one, depending on your point of view):
What if gladiators played musical chairs?
The concept is simple.
🎵 The music starts. 🪑 There aren't enough chairs for everyone. 😈 Everyone gets ready for the fight. ⏸️ The music stops. 💥 Chaos begins, and it's a ruthless race to the chairs. 📊 Points are counted. 🎵 Then the music starts again... and the whole thing repeats.
Easy to understand, much harder to master.
What's included in the demo?
The demo will let you experience a large part of Heroic Musical Chairs' multiplayer gameplay, including:
5 playable arenas
2 game modes: Free-for-All and Teams
Online multiplayer
Local multiplayer
Multiple characters and abilities to discover
We've also worked hard to make online play as simple as possible.
Create a lobby, grab the automatically generated code, and share it with your friends or community. Other players simply need to copy and paste the code to join your game in seconds.
No friend requests required.
We need your help
We developed Heroic Musical Chairs with a simple goal: create a game that's easy to launch, easy to share, and capable of turning a peaceful evening into a glorious disaster.
The release of this demo is an important milestone, but it's only the beginning.
We'll be very active on the Steam forums and on our Discord server to chat with you. Your feedback, ideas, criticism, and suggestions will help us improve the game in the months ahead.
If you take the time to share your experience with us, know that we'll read every piece of feedback carefully.
Thank you to everyone who has been following the project since the beginning. And we'll see you on June 1st!
Remember: when the music stops, friendships become optional.
