Developer Update, Jan. 15, 2015

HI all, I just saw this article on DayZ and their voyage through Early Access, and it presents a good overview of what I'm trying to avoid: https://games.yahoo.com/news/dayz-producer-early-access-frustrations-135045207.

changedHI all, I just saw this article on DayZ and their voyage through Early Access, and it presents a good overview of what I'm trying to avoid: https://games.yahoo.com/news/dayz-producer-early-access-frustrations-135045207.html One person quoted suggests a sort of "loading bar" for EA games, which, while easier said than done, is a good place to start. Like I've said prior, I first want to have a product that gives a good idea of where the fun lies with HOI. But beyond that, I also want to have confidence in a timeline I can present to the community so that everyone knows what sort of timeframe to expect for the final product. I had previously set Feb. 1 as the new date, but we won't make that. Rather than set another date, I'm just going to keep updating here until I have confidence in an EA release date. As for the game, I've got a few enemies I'm working on making fun and I'm pretty psyched about them. Talk to you soon! Michael
