Heroes of a Broken Land 2 changes
Finally version 0.9.0!
It has taken years to get here but finally the end is really in sight. From here on out the focus will be on polishing the current experiences - adjusting balance issues, fixing all the bugs, tuning the gameplay and adding all the little polish and details that need fixing.
This change is the first large re-balance of the gameplay in a long time. Combat damage has been adjusted, generally you should find magic more powerful as well as higher levels monsters (especially bosses!)
The economy has been tweaked too - building additions and upgrades have all been adjusted as well as the selling price of equipment.
With a game of this scope it can be difficult to ensure that big changes like these don't unbalance the game, so let me know how the plays!
Changes in 0.9.0:
Adjust magic base damage and variance
Defend skill now adds dodge, separate status from Shield skill
Fix Defend status text
Fix Stone Skin status icon showing up incorrectly
Tweak dungeon object probability
Fix combat issue where selecting players after item or skill use could break
Bosses now have more varied upgrades
Town upgrades are more spread out, more expensive
Reduced selling price of equipment
