Patch Notes #6

Hey everyone!

This patch is the final step in our complete progression revamp for Heritage. We’re really happy with how these changes turned out, and even happier with all the feedback and support you’ve given us throughout the Demo.

This update completely revamps the Ancestor’s Hall, the transitions surrounding progression, and the overall flow between battles, victories, defeats, and meta progression. Our goal was to make every run feel smoother, clearer, and more rewarding from beginning to end.

We also want to share that we’re planning one more update focused mainly on visuals and consistency improvements. This will most likely be the final major Demo patch before launch.

And finally… we officially have a date for the new character release!

This patch focuses on the complete Ancestor’s Hall revamp, end-of-run flow improvements, and overall combat presentation upgrades.

  • [NEW] Combat Scroll XP now scales based on Scroll rarity.

  • [NEW] Multiple localization entries added and updated.

  • [FIXED] General text consistency and translation fixes.

Bug Fixes

  • [FIXED] Final Battle no longer skips the statistics screen after victory.

  • [FIXED] Continue button added after the Final Battle.

  • [FIXED] Invalid character notification added during name input.

  • [FIXED] Battle Speed button responsiveness improved.

Final Notes

We’ll keep monitoring feedback and refining the game to ensure every run feels fun and consistent. There’s still a lot of work ahead, and we’re on it.

After updating the game, we STRONGLY recommend starting a new run. Previous saves may not reflect the changes correctly and could cause inconsistencies.

What’s Next?

The next update will focus heavily on visual consistency, polish, and improving the overall presentation of Heritage. After that, we’ll be preparing the Demo for launch parity updates with the Full Release build.

The Demo will continue receiving the latest gameplay improvements from the main game after launch, excluding future characters and the full year progression content, which will remain exclusive to the Full Release.
