This week was a bit unusual... one of our team members is currently in JAPAN, and I got sick, but we’re still pushing forward to bring you the best of Heritage:)

Without further ado, Patch Notes #3 are live!

This patch focuses on visuals and transitions to improve the overall feel of each run.

UPDATE for BETA version 1.3.06

Highlights

  • [IMPROVED] New smoother run start transition with reduced blackouts.

  • [IMPROVED] New text animations across multiple screens.

  • [IMPROVED] Number separators for Gold and Soul.

  • [NEW] New burn SFX for different Scroll types.

Gameplay Changes

  • [FIXED] Reroll can no longer be used before the Scroll animation.

  • [BALANCED] Resilient Body now has 2 refinement levels.

Visuals

  • [IMPROVED] Smoother transition between Character Selection and Heritage.

  • [IMPROVED] Partial removal of blackout transitions.

  • [NEW] Text animations implemented using Text Animator.

  • [IMPROVED] Shop Scroll icon changed to Gold.

  • [IMPROVED] Alliances screen now uses text instead of symbols.

Localization

  • [IMPROVED] Standardized relationship terms (Native, Friend, Ally, etc).

  • [FIXED] General text fixes.

Bug Fixes

  • [FIXED] Adjusted Dog SFX volume.

Notes

  • [IMPROVED] Continued focus on removing blackouts and improving transitions.

  • [NEW] Next patch will expand transitions, including battle flow.

  • [NEW] Progression and healing improvements planned for upcoming patches.

  • [NEW] Something big is on the way…

Final Notes

We’ll keep monitoring feedback and refining the game to ensure every run feels fun and consistent. There’s still a lot of work ahead, and we remain focused on it.

After updating the game, we recommend starting a new run, as previous saves may not reflect the changes correctly and could cause inconsistencies.
