First of all, thank you all for playing the Heritage Demo and taking the time to share feedback with us. We've been closely reading your comments and reports, and this patch focuses on localization fixes, UI improvements, and bug fixes to make the experience smoother.
UPDATE for NEW version BETA 1.3.04
Localization
We've made several adjustments across multiple languages to improve clarity and consistency.
PT-BR
Scroll texts were adjusted to ensure better context consistency.
Improved effect name consistency across different Skill descriptions.
FR / ES / DE
Shortened the Life Regeneration text to improve readability inside the Effect UI.
Reduced the length of some texts so they properly fit inside buttons and UI elements.
Skill Feed
Some Skills were being triggered infinitely in the Battle Feed, including Initial Spirit and Venomous Luck.
This was a visual bug only — it did not affect the actual battle values — but it caused the feed to display the same Skill repeatedly.
This has now been fixed so these Skills no longer appear infinitely in the combat feed.
Shop & Save Interaction
We fixed an issue related to saving the game inside the Shop.
Previously, if a player:
Entered a Shop
Purchased a Scroll
Saved and exited the game
Reloaded the save
The Scroll would appear purchasable again, even though it had already been bought.
This has now been fixed, and the Scroll will correctly appear as already purchased (hidden) when returning to the shop after loading the save.
What We're Working On Next
We're currently tracking several improvements for upcoming updates based on your feedback.
Run Flexibility
We're exploring ways to allow players to change Skills or Equipment during a run. Our current idea is to introduce a special Scroll in the Shop that would enable this behavior.
Clarity & Gameplay Helpers
We're working on improving game clarity by adding more explanations and helper notes for systems that are currently under-explained, including:
Ascension
Sect Rivals and Allies
Other progression-related systems
Name Progression (Community Request)
Many of you asked for the Name Progression system to become the default behavior. Currently, you need to press the left button to activate it.
We're planning to change this so that runs will automatically follow the progression format: → II → III → ...
This means when you finish a run and begin a new life, the next incarnation will automatically carry the next title.
