Repeated intro
Hey, everyone! So, we’ve been very quiet for a long while, both here and on socials, but worry not: we’re still working hard on Hellslinger! So here’s where we’re at and how we got there:

We've made the decision to do some hard work now to prevent lots of potential issues and convert the entire code base over to ZSCRIPT. Most of the enemies and weapons in the demo use the much clunkier DECORATE which did the job but it was becoming increasingly difficult to add new stuff. So in the name of not having tech debt, an entirely new code base has been created.
Bad news? This takes a lot of time. Good new? The hard stuff is almost done. The core weapons and enemies for the first 5-6 maps in the main game are almost done which means the real meat and potatoes work of level design is about to properly crank up. While waiting for the resources to be in a good state we've planned out all 10(ish) maps planned for early access.
Beyond the programming side of things, we’ve been working extensively on new visual assets for the game, including plenty of new textures, props, enemies (bosses included!), the 4th playable character (whose identity is secret for now) - and more! And as a treat, here's some of that sexy work
