Prototype 3 is Now Available & Developer Diary Episode 3

Hello friends,

I’m excited to share that Hello Neighbor 3: Prototype 3 is now live and ready for you to explore!

If you’ve played the previous prototypes, you should already have access: just look for “Hello Neighbor 3 Playtest” in your Steam Library and make sure it’s updated to the latest version.

IN CASE THE GAME WON’T START:

If you played previous prototypes

• Uninstall HN3 through Steam

• Find the folder located in … [your user name] \\AppData\\Local\\HelloNeighbor3 and delete it.

• Install HN3 via Steam

If you are using third-party modding tools (like, Ultimate Editor Tool)

• Delete its components for HN3

• Reinstall HN3

Since we have set the development process to be as transparent as possible, we would like to share various game prototypes with you. As we continue to develop the game as we always envisioned it, your perspective matters a lot. For this playtest, we would love you to help us understand a few particular things better.

• How far into the game have you gone?

• How easy was it to get started and figure out what to do?

• What motivated you to explore the game world the most?

If you’re joining for the first time, you can request access directly on Steam by clicking the green “Request Access” button on the Hello Neighbor 3 Prototype page.

Once you’ve played, please fill out this form and head to the Prototype 3 feedback section of our Discord to share your feedback and experiences.
