changed// INCOMING TRANSMISSION — SOURCE: relay@darkmesh.io"Meridian says they shut Project Daybreak down. They buried the name next to Nightfall and called it archived. It isn't. It never was. We set you up with a way in — a contractor cover, a relayed inbox, a foothold on their network. The rest is on you, Null. Get in quiet. Get out quieter. And whatever you do… don't let it see you."
changedHELLO HACKER 2: PROJECT DAYBREAK — THE FREE DEMO ARRIVES SOONThis is a hacking game for people who actually want to hack . No minigames. No "press X to breach." You sit down at a simulated desktop, open a real terminal, and do the work — with tools that behave like the ones security professionals use every day.
changedWHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DOMap the target. Sweep Meridian's network with nmap — and learn to use stealth scans, because loud recon gets you noticed.
changedSOMETHING IS WATCHING BACKEvery loud move raises your exposure. Cross the line and Meridian's autonomous system — AURORA — stops just logging you and starts responding . It tears down your session and kicks you off their network. It tampers with your notes. And when you're deep enough in the red, it starts talking directly to you.
changedSOMETHING IS WATCHING BACKThe deeper you go, the harder your own machine breathes. This one gets under your skin on purpose.
addedFRESH SCREENSHOTS — AND A TRAILER INCOMINGWe've just updated the store page with new screenshots pulled straight from live gameplay, so you can see exactly what a session looks like. A full gameplay trailer is dropping soon — Follow the page so it hits your feed the moment it's live.

HELLO HACKER 2: PROJECT DAYBREAK — THE FREE DEMO ARRIVES SOON

You are Null. A dead-drop lands in an inbox that was never supposed to reach you, and by the time you've decrypted it you're already inside a conspiracy that a trillion-dollar company has spent a year pretending is dead.

This is a hacking game for people who actually want to hack. No minigames. No "press X to breach." You sit down at a simulated desktop, open a real terminal, and do the work — with tools that behave like the ones security professionals use every day.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

  • Map the target. Sweep Meridian's network with nmap — and learn to use stealth scans, because loud recon gets you noticed.

  • Do your homework. OSINT the company's admin straight off their public careers page. Names, roles, habits. It's all out there.

  • Break the door down. Bypass a live login with a real SQL injection, then walk records that were never yours with a textbook IDOR.

  • Dig deeper. Pull a hidden payload out of a "corrupted" image. Escalate to root. Crack an encrypted dead drop that's been waiting for the right key.

  • Cover your tracks. Shred the logs. Go quiet. Or don't — and find out what happens.

SOMETHING IS WATCHING BACK

Every loud move raises your exposure. Cross the line and Meridian's autonomous system — AURORA — stops just logging you and starts responding. It tears down your session and kicks you off their network. It tampers with your notes. And when you're deep enough in the red, it starts talking directly to you.

The deeper you go, the harder your own machine breathes. This one gets under your skin on purpose.

THE DEMO

The free demo is the game's complete Prologue — the full onboarding into the darkmesh, start to finish, plus a demo-exclusive finale beat you won't get anywhere else. One wide-open debug endpoint. One request. And a countdown you didn't start.

Can you go dark before the trace completes?

FRESH SCREENSHOTS — AND A TRAILER INCOMING

We've just updated the store page with new screenshots pulled straight from live gameplay, so you can see exactly what a session looks like. A full gameplay trailer is dropping soon — Follow the page so it hits your feed the moment it's live.

BE READY FOR LAUNCH

The demo goes live very soon. Wishlist and Follow now so Steam pings you the second it drops — and so you're first through the door when the full game arrives.

They archived the name. You're going to find out why.

— See you in the dark, Null.
