Fixes & Improvements Steam post image
Fixed a rare crash that could occur after completing a trial and returning to the menu.
Fixed multiple crashes and issues related to replacing spells during a trial.
Fixed an issue where the homing upgrade for Shredder and Scourge could cause major FPS drops, especially in Gravehold and Ashcrypt.
Reworked how leaderboards refresh and load.
Due to the huge number of leaderboard entries (seriously, thank you all for that), the old system was struggling to properly refresh and update data. Previously, the game loaded every leaderboard at startup, which could cause refresh issues and outdated entries.
Leaderboards will now only load when you open a specific board. This means they may take a couple of seconds to appear, but they should now refresh more reliably and display the correct updated entries.
The refresh button will also now refresh only the currently selected arena leaderboard instead of all boards at once.
Added a launch option to disable shader pre-compilation.
On some systems, shader pre-compilation appeared to cause very high VRAM usage during startup and could occasionally even result in crashes. Disabling it can reduce RAM/VRAM usage and lower memory spikes during launch, though it may cause minor stutters during gameplay.
Minor fixes and improvements for multiple blessings.

THANK YOU
We just wanted to say thank you again for all the support HELLBREAK has received since launch. Seeing so many people playing, competing on the leaderboards, sharing feedback, and reporting issues has genuinely meant a lot to us.
As a two-person team, we really appreciate the patience and support while we continue improving the game. We’ll keep working on fixes, balance, optimization, and new content, and we’ll continue keeping you updated along the way. [dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3043760/HELLBREAK/"]
