Healing Effects

As a Paladin, healing is part of the job, but until now there was no visual feedback for it. With more units gaining healing abilities (see below), it became important to clearly show when a unit is being healed. This will also be especially useful in multiplayer, where readability is key.

New Paladin Animations (and Blending)

One of the main pieces of feedback from our IGN Reveal Trailer was that the playable character felt stiff. We’ve created new animations and reworked animation blending to achieve a more natural feel in all directions, including during combat.

Working on the Forest Level

While continuing work on other levels, the Forest is also receiving new enemies. Let us introduce the Ground Worm and the Amaryllis.

The Ground Worm

This giant worm hunts you from underground, tracking and following you wherever you go. It can attack in melee and is also equipped with a ranged spitting ability that launches a venom ball toward its target. Animations and models are not final.

The Amaryllis

Once a beautiful flower, the Amaryllis is now a dangerous creature. It has no melee attack and avoids direct combat. Instead, while fleeing, it throws venomous grenades that explode on impact, creating an AOE that damages you while healing other forest creatures.
