changed⛏️ A Bit of Digging…We also made solid progress on the digging mini-game , refining its interface and making it more intuitive and satisfying to play.
changed🎞️ Behind the Scenes: Adèle in MotionEver wondered how we animate our characters? This month we shared a peek behind the curtain: Adèle is animated in Blender , using a 3D skeleton but with 2D sprite assets attached! It's a hybrid approach that helps us keep the hand-drawn charm while allowing for smooth movement and quick iteration.
changed🧀 Say Cheese! (QTE Style)Next up was the cheese-making mini-game ! We designed and implemented a quick-time event (QTE) bonus system that will reward you with more products when you complete it. We still have to do some playtesting to get the timing just right!
changed🧃 A Bit of JuiceFinally, we gave some love to the interface animations . Now, when you open a menu or interact with an element, the UI responds with a little movement — a bit of "juice" that makes every interaction feel more satisfying.

🚶‍♀️ Adele's Journey Begins

We kicked off the month by working on the intro cutscene, where our main character, Adèle, begins her journey from the city to the peaceful mountain village. But we don’t want to spoil too much about it yet!

⛏️ A Bit of Digging…

We also made solid progress on the digging mini-game, refining its interface and making it more intuitive and satisfying to play.

One of the most satisfying updates: we made the skybox rotate to reflect the passage of time during the day. It’s a small touch that really brings the world to life.
