changedThis season's competition is a "Minimum Jumps" challenge, and up to three players can win the challenge (one for each exit to Bardolf Well)! There's two ways to compete:
changedGet the fewest jumps in any of the three exit categories to win the community challenge! Ties will be decided by whomever is the fastest!
addedHow to Play: Setup your video recording software/hardware. You will be required to provide a link to a YouTube video of your run when submitting your run to the leaderboards. Start a new save file in the Heartwell Demo. The run must be started and completed on the same save file. Time for a run starts the moment that the player can move using the "W", "A", "S", or "D" keys in Bardolf Well. Time for a run ends when the player reaches the Bardolf Well Exit for the category they've chosen. Count how many jumps were performed during your run, and include this number in your YouTube video's title or description. Submit your run details link to the "challenge-share" channel in the Discord Server linked above!

This season's competition is a "Minimum Jumps" challenge, and up to three players can win the challenge (one for each exit to Bardolf Well)! There's two ways to compete:

  1. Get the fewest jumps in any of the three exit categories to win the community challenge! Ties will be decided by whomever is the fastest!

  2. Get fewer jumps than the Author Stats for any exit category for bragging rights! See below for the Author Stats.

    • Caria Forest: 7 Jumps, Time - 8:46

    • Polestar Highlands: 46 Jumps, Time - 10:12

    • Dorada Coast: 1 Jump, Time - 12:23

The rules for this competition are listed below:

  1. How to Play:

    1. Setup your video recording software/hardware. You will be required to provide a link to a YouTube video of your run when submitting your run to the leaderboards.

    2. Start a new save file in the Heartwell Demo. The run must be started and completed on the same save file.

    3. Time for a run starts the moment that the player can move using the "W", "A", "S", or "D" keys in Bardolf Well.

    4. Time for a run ends when the player reaches the Bardolf Well Exit for the category they've chosen.

    5. Count how many jumps were performed during your run, and include this number in your YouTube video's title or description.

    6. Submit your run details link to the "challenge-share" channel in the Discord Server linked above!

  2. What is Allowed:

    1. In-game glitches

    2. Exiting to the Main Menu during a run

    3. Exiting the Game during a run (note: the time for your run must continue even when you have exited the game)

    4. Cosmetic Mods

  3. What is Not Allowed:

    1. Gameplay Effecting Mods

    2. Hacks/Cheat Engines

    3. Save File Editing

Submission Deadline:

All runs for this season must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. EST on Thursday November 14, 2025, after which the following winners will be announced (with links to their runs):

  • Fewest Jumps for the Caria Forest Exit (Ties Decided by Fastest Time)

  • Fewest Jumps for the Polestar Highlands Exit (Ties Decided by Fastest Time)

  • Fewest Jumps for the Dorada Coast Exit (Ties Decided by Fastest Time)

The Winners will be announced within 2 weeks of the submission deadline closing. The next season's rule set for the Heartwell Community Challenge will also be announced within 2 Weeks of the submission deadline.
