I wanted to share a major development update regarding Heart of Gaia and talk about where the project currently stands.

After a long development journey, the game has officially entered its final stage before release. All major core content is now complete, and the game is currently focused on polishing, balancing, optimization, and final adjustments.

At the moment, I’m aiming to release Heart of Gaia either later this month ( May ) or next month ( June ). I’m still evaluating the best release window while also keeping an eye on other upcoming launches.

Current State of the Game

The game currently includes:

  • A complete main campaign (+20 Quests) • Fully playable progression from start to finish • Core combat systems and build mechanics finalized • Implemented skills, items, and equipment systems • Main bosses completed • Initial end-game content available • Major balancing pass already done

The current focus is making sure the experience feels polished and enjoyable at launch.

Plans After Release

Even though the core game is complete, this is only the beginning for Heart of Gaia. I already have several plans for post-launch updates and future expansions, including:

  • New areas to explore • New bosses and superbosses • Expanded end-game content • Additional optional quests • More items and equipment • New skills and build possibilities

Multiplayer Plans

One of the biggest planned features is multiplayer support.

The current roadmap includes:

  • Local co-op • Online co-op in the future

I want to approach multiplayer carefully to ensure it feels stable and enjoyable, so these features will likely be developed progressively after launch.

Next Steps Before Release

Over the next weeks, I’ll continue working on:

  • General polish • Bug fixing • Performance improvements • Final balancing adjustments • UI and gameplay refinements

I’ll also continue sharing updates, previews, and additional information as we get closer to launch.
