Hand Cannon Virtuoso changes
Howdy all!
Hope you all have enjoyed the holidays :^)
Just shipped a big update today, it's all about boss fights.
What's New
Boss Fight Overhaul
The game's boss fights were feeling unpolished and buggy relative to the rest of the game, so I gave them a fresh coat of paint. I think the boss fights feel more challenging now but at the same time more fair because they are less buggy.
General improvements
Bosses now have health bars.
Bosses now play an animation when they transition from one stage to the next.
Made Corridor of Shadows boss fight smaller.
Boss spawns (turrets, landmines, etc.) now disappear when boss is defeated.
Giga Tank
Giga Tank is now smaller and faster.
Added a new attack that fires 3 smash attacks instead of one.
Added a new attack where Giga Tank fires a flurry of laser bolts from its eye.
Generally tuned logic for when Giga Tank fires certain attacks.
Chef Bot
New VFX for spin attack
Spin attack now makes Chef Bot invulnerable
New knife/cleaver throwing patterns
Chef Bot's throwing weapons are no longer stopped by bullets
Chef Bot's throwing weapons are now disabled on death.
Knight Bot
Added attack that spawns orbs that shoot projectiles.
Made Dash attack less buggy.
Construction Bot
Added new Sniper Turrets that have longer range and fire higher damage, faster projectiles.
Fixed issue where Bully the bulldozer would sometimes pin player to the ground resulting in unfairly quick death.
Fahrenheit Maximus
Made movement slightly faster
Flamethrowers now deactivate on death
Increased size of flamethrowers
Some flamethrower attack patterns now rotate / spin
Fahrenheit Maximus now leaves a burning trail behind it wherever it walks.
Misc. tweaks and bug fixes
Increased Repair Kit option in the Maintenance center from 250 -> 300
Replaced Repair Kits with Max Health powerups that give you 100 max health but don't heal.
Grapple points now highlight when you are aimed point at them
Shooting detonatables (grenades/rockets/etc) now causes them to explode
Fixed snow launcher sound FX
Increased Omnidrone attack range
Fixed some lighting issues on some levels
Increased the size of the Spin Spider hit box
