changedHeya! This is Limited here with another development journal for Hanacamp
changedNow that all the UI and setting components are finished, as a programmer there aren't that many things to do at the moment. However, this week we had a significant change in the scenario of Hanacamp.(Meaning, we had a lot of meetings.)
changed1) Scenario First of all, as a team we had a chance to see the fully detailed scenario, written by our scenario writer, Mozzarella stick. It was great, except for the fact that the story itself was too ambitious and would require more assets than was budgeted. Therefore, we decided to give him more time to adjust the scenario so that it fits better in the context of a visual novel. For those of you who don't know, Mozzarella stick is from the light novel industry. So it's a different work situation for him to consider how assets and programming fits into putting a project together. In conclusion, though we aren't going exactly according to the original timeframe for Hanacamp, as director, I do not regret making him our scenario writer. At the end of the day, this is a visual "novel" and if the story is lacking in potential then as a team we can't call it a visual novel.
removed2) iOS Demo Last week, we submitted Hanacamp to the iOS App Store but got rejected. The reason, we were told is that demos are not allowed on the iOS App Store. For that reason, we will launch Hana’s Campus Life with the content that's been finished thus far and when the full game is complete, we will remove the old version from the iOS App Store and submit the full version at that time.
changedAs always, thank you for the huge amount of support! I will see you guys again in next week's development journal.

Heya! This is Limited here with another development journal for Hanacamp

It's finally February here and after some calculation, we realized that today is the 200 day anniversary since the start of development on Hanacamp 😉

Now that all the UI and setting components are finished, as a programmer there aren't that many things to do at the moment. However, this week we had a significant change in the scenario of Hanacamp.(Meaning, we had a lot of meetings.)

  1. 1) Scenario First of all, as a team we had a chance to see the fully detailed scenario, written by our scenario writer, Mozzarella stick. It was great, except for the fact that the story itself was too ambitious and would require more assets than was budgeted. Therefore, we decided to give him more time to adjust the scenario so that it fits better in the context of a visual novel.

  2. 2) iOS Demo Last week, we submitted Hanacamp to the iOS App Store but got rejected.

The reason, we were told is that demos are not allowed on the iOS App Store.

For that reason, we will launch Hana’s Campus Life with the content that's been finished thus far and when the full game is complete, we will remove the old version from the iOS App Store and submit the full version at that time.

As always, thank you for the huge amount of support! I will see you guys again in next week's development journal.
