addedManaging shards in the Vault just got a lot faster. You can now hold Shift to upgrade or refund in steps of 10, Alt for steps of 100, and Shift+Alt for steps of 1000. Gamepad players can use the left and right triggers to do the same.
changedBug Fixes & Improvements
fixedBard: Fixed an issue where the Mark of the Bard ability was incorrectly mapping to generic abilities at the start of a run instead of the Bard's own abilities (KillerRiff, KickBass, etc.).
fixedMusic Player: Fixed a potential crash that could occur when switching music tracks during a level-up screen.
fixedLord of Regret: Fixed the mining attack incorrectly using a hardcoded bomb count instead of the intended value. His wave and delta attacks will also now properly abort if he dies mid-attack.

Shard Upgrades: Bulk Actions

Managing shards in the Vault just got a lot faster. You can now hold Shift to upgrade or refund in steps of 10, Alt for steps of 100, and Shift+Alt for steps of 1000. Gamepad players can use the left and right triggers to do the same.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • BardFixed an issue where the Mark of the Bard ability was incorrectly mapping to generic abilities at the start of a run instead of the Bard's own abilities (KillerRiff, KickBass, etc.).
  • Music PlayerFixed a potential crash that could occur when switching music tracks during a level-up screen.
  • Lord of RegretFixed the mining attack incorrectly using a hardcoded bomb count instead of the intended value. His wave and delta attacks will also now properly abort if he dies mid-attack.
  • Player InputFixed an issue where holding left-click and right-click simultaneously could cause auto-attack to get stuck. Input is also now correctly disabled on death.
  • Undergrowth VineFixed vines not despawning at the correct time when certain Force modifiers were applied after the vine was created.
  • Bog Slow AreaFixed stale puddle references carrying over between runs, which could cause the slow effect to trigger incorrectly.
  • VaultAdded a safeguard to prevent a crash that occurred when an item stored in the Well no longer exists in the current item pool.

Agony Quest Fixes

  • Chambers of Dissonance: The "Survive the Agony" quest will now only track progress and complete when Agony mode is actually active. It was previously possible to fulfil the quest conditions outside of Agony entirely.

  • Alchemist & Crone Agony Quests: These quests now correctly require Agony mode to be active before tracking any progress.

Crash Fixes

  • Lightning StrikeFixed crashes that could occur with the Electrifying Strike and Explosive Strike upgrades when the lightning spawner node wasn't properly found.
  • Thunder CapeResolved a naming conflict between the Thunder Cape and the Lightning Strike ability that was causing crashes. Also fixed a crash related to invalid targets being included when picking the highest HP enemy.
  • Quest Saving: Quests now save to your profile immediately upon completion, meaning progress will no longer be lost if the game is closed before the next regular save.

  • DLC — Bogs & BooksFixed an initialization issue that could cause DLC quest unlock checks to run before the game had fully loaded.

Champion Rewards

  • Fixed champion reward drops not resetting between runs within the same session. After your first run, champions would stop dropping rewards entirely — that's now sorted.

Coming Up Next — A Look Ahead

We're hard at work on the next update and wanted to share a few things you can look forward to. Within the next week we'll have more concrete details, but here's an early preview:

Free Update The next free content update will include:

  • Kill or Timer — your choice: You'll be able to switch between reaching a kill threshold or surviving a set timer as your map completion condition, giving you more flexibility in how you play.

  • Statistics & Records: We're adding per-map stats tracking along with personal records, so you can see exactly how your runs stack up over time.

  • Challenge ShrineA new shrine that generates fresh challenges — whether daily or weekly is still being tested and finalised, so stay tuned!

Paid DLC — "The Archives"We're also working on a new paid DLC. It introduces a brand new map — The Archives — along with a new character to discover there. We're not giving too much away yet, but here's your first look:

More details on both the free update and The Archives are coming soon. Thank you all for your continued support and your reports — they make a real difference.
