New Guntouchables update (v. 1.0.4) is adding text chat

Hello Preppers!

We’ve heard you loud and clear! - you wanted better ways to communicate with your squad in-game. With the 1.0.4 update, we’re excited to introduce text chat! Just hit 'Enter'and type away to coordinate strategies, request healing or ammo, or simply connect with your teammates.

This update is a little bigger than the previous updates, and we are really excited to share it with you. If you've been following some of the recent Steam posts, you already know that we have been working hard to address the most critical feedback and your most highly requested features.

What's new in 1.0.4:

⌨️In-game text chat

You have requested better ways to communicate and connect with the other players in the game. Guntouchables 1.0.4 will introduce a brand-new text chat feature, allowing players to request healing or ammo, sync strategies or whatever else they find a need to communicate.

🥾Tools for inactive players

The new update add functionality allowing the host to kick other players from the game to prevent someone who is inactive from blocking further progress.

🎒Consumable drop option

Pressing "R" when holding a consumable, will now put it back on the ground. This will make it easier to optimize the distribution of consumables between the players.

🎮Steam Deck improvements

We have made some visual tweaks to make the game look better on the smaller screen on the Steam Deck.

💾Player progression backup

Unfortunately, some players have been unlucky and lost progression. As much as we would like to, we cannot help restore this progression. However, we are looking to add a solution that would help players restore their progression if this should happen again in the future.

🔧Bug fixing and performance optimizations

We are making ongoing efforts to improve the game's performance. We know that some players have reported issues related to unstable online connection. We are making continuous efforts to identify and solve these issues.
