Guilds of Mountgate – Update v0.3.0.0

Greetings Adventurers,

today we're excited to release Version 0.3.0.0, one of the biggest milestones in Guilds of Mountgate so far.

This update introduces three completely new skills, expands the world with new systems and mechanics, and continues our journey toward Early Access by making the game feel deeper, more immersive, and more rewarding.

Three New Skills

The biggest highlight of this update is the addition of Agility, Farming, and Mysticism.

Agility allows players to unlock shortcuts throughout the world, making travel faster and rewarding exploration.

Farming lays the foundation for growing your own resources and introduces the first steps toward a fully-fledged agriculture system.

With Mysticism, players can now craft potions and salves while enchanting jewelry to further customize their character progression.

A More Living World

We've continued expanding the world itself.

Large settlements such as Mountgate Harbor and Stonebridge have been divided into multiple districts, making them feel significantly larger and more believable.

We've also completely redesigned the navigation system. Traveling between locations is now much more direct, removing the need to constantly return to the City Hub before continuing your journey.

Crafting & Cooking

Crafting professions received another large update.

Crafting can now occasionally fail, producing burnt food, scrap, or other by-products depending on the profession.

We've also added several new craftable items including Wooden Plates, Jugs, and Bottles, while Mead can now be brewed for the first time.

Mushrooms can now be propagated using Spore Prints, and Farming has already begun laying the groundwork for future agricultural progression.

Journal & Daily Quests

The Journal has been completely reorganized, making it much easier to navigate as more discoveries become available.

We've also introduced several new NPCs and a brand-new Daily Quest system, unlocking additional activities as you progress through each settlement.

Polish & Improvements

As always, this update includes a large collection of quality-of-life improvements, balancing adjustments, UI refinements, localization fixes, and technical improvements.

Founder Edition Progression

Founder Edition players can now progress up to Level 20 in every available skill during this first phase of Early Access.

As development continues, this level cap will be increased step by step alongside new content, locations, mechanics, and progression systems, allowing the world of Vellgar to grow naturally over time.

Behind the scenes, we've continued preparing Guilds of Mountgate for the upcoming Early Access phase with extensive backend, security, and infrastructure upgrades that will help support future development.

The complete patch notes can be found on our website.

Thank you once again to everyone testing the game, reporting bugs, and sharing feedback. Every update brings Guilds of Mountgate one step closer to the experience we want to create.

See you in Vellgar!
